How many will it take?

There has been yet another shooting in an American university.

As of the 26th of August 2015 there had already been 247 shootings in the United States of America this year.

Today Professor Ethan Schmidt was killed on the Delta State University campus, shot in the back of the head. The only suspect was fellow professor Shannon Lamb, who was also the key suspect in a domestic shooting that occurred in Gautier, Mississippi earlier the same day. While fleeing from police however, Lamb is reported to have died of a self-inflicted gun wound. (x)

These incidents are taking place in America almost every single day, sometimes multiple times a day. More people are dying from gun shootings then from terrorism in the United States and while terrorism is being fought using billions of dollars and government policies, next to nothing is being done about gun control. To be frank, it is absolutely shocking that no change has taken place and I sincerely hope that those in power begin to take notice of this issue and take preventative measures before it is too late and another person has to die.
